Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  1. Comprehend Telematics specifications and functional requirements.
  2. Develop and implement a validation plan for Telematics functions and testing.
  3. Gain insight into the Head Unit (HU) system and its sub-systems.
  4. Collaborate with headquarters on new and existing Telematics feature requirements.
  5. Facilitate effective communication with software design and validation teams to enhance overall system performance.
  6. Prepare technical evaluations and proposals for engineering changes, including the creation of test cases based on these proposals.
  7. Participate in design reviews for both software and hardware components.
  8. Define and manage test and design requirements.
  9. Oversee project management and conduct project reviews with the team.
  10. Create comprehensive system test plans in accordance with specifications and standards.
  11. Utilize issue logging software such as JIRA and Polarion, and develop test cases within these systems.
  12. Analyze test results using various logging methods.
Essential Skills
  • Facilitate communication with headquarters regarding design and testing definitions.
  • Manage tasks and conduct reviews with the team.
  • Develop system test plans based on specifications and standards.
  • Possess experience in Telematics, leadership, and task management.
  • Familiarity with technologies and tools including CAN, TCP/IP, and ADB.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
  • Have experience with OEM vehicle development projects from inception to production.
Qualifications

Applicants should have:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Telematics.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Design and validation experience in Telematics.
Travel Requirements

Local domestic travel is expected to be around 5-10%.
