Job Summary

Brembo North America is seeking a highly skilled Application System Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the technical development and implementation of brake system applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Development: Develop and maintain technical expertise in brake system applications, including testing and development.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers, including vehicle parameter analysis, packaging data, and engineering requirements.
  • Brake System Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of brake systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Program Management: Manage customer reviews and internal drawing releases, as well as evaluate new program technical requirements.
  • Collaboration: Participate in customer test activities and vehicle builds, and support customer and plant personnel during ramp-up to start of production and during series production.
  • Communication: Assist with technical presentations and quote submissions, and support customer engineering relative to quality and warranty.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years' experience preferred.
  • Skills: CAD/CAE (CATIA – UG), organization, analysis, decision making, communication, interpersonal, independent, urgent, customer oriented, data driven, innovative, detail oriented, flexible, team player, analytical.
Working Environment

The person in this constantly changing environment works at a fast pace with minimum supervision. Accuracy and good customer service is a must. The requirements of the business may cause frequent interruptions. Travel may be required.
