· Salary Range: $40,000 - $43,000

Key Responsibilities:

This role involves delivering comprehensive employment case management to families in need.

Core Duties Include:

  1. Conducting thorough employment assessments for clients entering our programs, identifying their skills, qualifications, and employment readiness.
  2. Facilitating job development and tailored job search activities that align with clients' unique interests and needs.
  3. Providing educational support for clients interested in advancing their careers through programs like Virtual Uplift U.
  4. Maintaining regular employer outreach to establish job opportunities.
  5. Assisting in the creation of externship sites and partnerships with local employers.
  6. Conducting workshops to help clients identify and overcome barriers to employment.
  7. Managing a caseload and coaching clients on job retention strategies to enhance their career prospects.
  8. Facilitating community employment classes as required.
  9. Providing transportation for clients to employment-related activities.
  10. Keeping meticulous records of client interactions and progress, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  11. Generating reports on client outcomes for funders and stakeholders.
  12. Training and supervising interns and volunteers to uphold program standards.
  13. Participating in community events and fundraising initiatives as needed.
  14. Supporting team objectives and contributing to organizational goals.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Experience: 3-5 years of case management experience is essential.

Skills: A strong commitment to service, understanding of poverty, and the ability to work with diverse populations. Proficiency in Office 365 and excellent communication skills are necessary.

Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively and work in various environments. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. or more.

Additional Information: Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. Background checks will be conducted.
