Community Engagement Facilitator

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and supplying necessary information and documentation.
- Conduct program promotion through writing advertisements, creating brochures, and leading informational tours.
- Handle applicant information by collecting completed applications, verifying details, and interviewing family members and clients.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients.
- Refer clients to suitable programs as needed.
- Coordinate the processing of admissions applications.
- Deliver support services related to admissions for various programs and departments.
- Disseminate information regarding the program effectively.
- Act as the primary point of contact for prospective students.
- Conduct admissions appointments with new students, both walk-in and scheduled.
- Assist students in assessing their skills and interests to ensure a smooth transition from education to employment or further education.
- Evaluate, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and assess options and services aimed at facilitating a seamless transition.
- Build and maintain productive working relationships both onsite and within the community.
- Prepare essential documentation and professional reports.
- Represent the organization at recruitment events and maintain informational displays.
- Serve as the primary instructor for community-based customer service training groups.
- Foster a collaborative work environment and engage effectively with colleagues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
A BA/BS degree is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in school admissions, teaching, training, or a related field. Special Education certification is preferred. Candidates should possess Discovery certification through Vocational Rehabilitation or demonstrate a willingness to obtain it within the first 90 days. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as outstanding customer service abilities. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines under pressure. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills are necessary. Time management, organization, and attention to detail are crucial. A self-starter with a service-oriented mindset is preferred. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
Compliance with Level II background screening and drug screening is mandatory.
