Position Summary:

The Tampa Bay Academy of Hope is looking for a committed Training and Development Specialist who is enthusiastic about creating apprenticeship training initiatives and promoting skill development in fields such as construction, information technology, and manufacturing. This role involves designing engaging educational programs that incorporate practical elements tailored to meet the specific requirements of each industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess skill deficiencies and develop thorough training initiatives
  • Oversee the delivery of instruction and ensure compliance with program guidelines
  • Maintain safety regulations and industry standards across all training programs
  • Participate in community engagement projects and leadership initiatives
  • Encourage inclusive hiring and recruitment strategies
  • Provide ongoing updates and reports regarding program progress
  • Focus on enhancing job quality standards and career advancement opportunities

Development Objectives:

  • Timely creation and implementation of specialized training curricula
  • Successful introduction of new programs aligned with industry demands
  • Uphold exceptional standards of training quality and safety compliance

Qualifications Required:

  • At least 5 years of experience in training and development
