Position Summary:

The Office Manager is tasked with overseeing and executing all administrative functions within a residential community setting.

Essential Qualifications for Office Manager:

  • Completion of high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Preferred educational background includes an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in office management within a business environment.
  • Familiarity with state and federal employment regulations and standards.
  • Capability to conduct budget analysis and variance reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office machinery.

Key Responsibilities for Office Manager:

  • Oversee the financial operations of the community, including accounting and administrative functions.
  • Administer payroll processes.
  • Address financial inquiries from residents and their families.
  • Manage the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff members.
  • Supervise all accounts receivable and payable activities, including collections.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

This role requires prolonged periods of standing. The employee must effectively communicate with others, sit, stand, walk, and utilize hands for various tasks such as operating a keyboard, telephone, and handling documents. Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 25 pounds may be necessary. The work environment necessitates appropriate interaction with colleagues and residents, with a moderate noise level. Some travel to different locations may be required.
