Division Overview

The Information Technology Division (ITD) of PACCAR, based in Renton, WA, leverages advanced technology to deliver systems development, consulting, and communication services across the corporation, maintaining a strong presence in the tech industry.

Position Summary

This is a non-exempt role situated in Renton, WA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming calls by answering, screening, and directing them appropriately.
  • Welcome visitors at the front desk, ensuring they are greeted and directed correctly.
  • Actively contribute to fostering a positive employee experience through appreciation events, tours, and wellness initiatives.
  • Develop and circulate a weekly newsletter to keep employees informed about updates, events, and recognitions.
  • Maintain employee communication boards with pertinent information and announcements.
  • Assist HR and Recruiting with the onboarding process for new employees, including setting up system access and ordering welcome gifts.
  • Identify and manage special HR projects to support organizational goals; engage in planning and problem-solving activities.
  • Generate monthly and ad-hoc HR reports.
  • Monitor and follow up on compliance training requirements.
  • Provide general support to the HR department, including organizing meetings and preparing documents.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving tasks for the division.
  • Serve as a backup for Office Services and the CIO Executive Assistant as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Reliable, organized, and capable of producing accurate results while prioritizing tasks independently.
  • Strong multitasking, customer service, and organizational abilities, with proficiency in written and verbal communication, especially with confidential information.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with HR systems (SAP), Publisher, and SharePoint is preferred.
  • Experience in project-related activities through involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in HR-related roles or equivalent experience is required.
  • Must meet physical requirements with or without accommodation.
Education Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required.
