Role Overview:
The Quality Assurance Specialist is tasked with the development, execution, and upkeep of testing protocols to ensure the software's functionality and performance meet established standards. This position demands exceptional analytical capabilities and a meticulous approach to detail.
Core Responsibilities:
Experience in Workforce Solutions Required
Required Skills: SAP, Workforce Solutions for Time & Leave Management
- Test Case Development: Formulate detailed test cases derived from project specifications, ensuring comprehensive coverage of both functional and non-functional software aspects.
- Test Execution: Carry out test cases to uncover defects or issues within the software, ensuring thorough testing of all components and functionalities.
- Defect Reporting and Tracking: Accurately document and report any defects or issues identified during testing, utilizing appropriate tracking tools. Work closely with the development team to facilitate prompt resolution of reported issues.
- Test Documentation: Generate and maintain precise documentation of test cases, plans, and results, ensuring adherence to project standards.
- Test Environment Setup: Prepare test data and validate the testing environment.
- Collaboration and Communication: Engage with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure a unified understanding of project requirements and deliverables. Provide timely updates on test progress, results, and any potential risks or issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and propose enhancements to testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. Contribute to the overall improvement of the quality assurance process within the project.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Manufacturing.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (HR), Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist, ideally in software development or HR-related projects.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficient in crafting clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and plans.
- Experience with defect tracking systems and test management tools.
- Familiarity with various testing types, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with agile development practices.
- Knowledge of SAP, Workforce Solutions for Time & Leave Management, and ALMQC is advantageous.
- Understanding of HR Systems is a plus.
