Accrued time is available for immediate use. Annual Salary:
$66,000 - $110,000

Position Overview:
The Human Resources Specialist will oversee the daily operations of the HR department, managing the administration and coordination of employment processes, employee relations, benefits management, and conflict resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to management regarding employee relations matters.
- Administer, coordinate, and monitor approved Leaves of Absence (LOAs), Workers' Compensation programs, and light duty assignments.
- Manage employee records and employment documentation, including onboarding, benefits, and termination paperwork.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proven knowledge of fundamental human resources principles and practices.
- Previous experience in employee relations, including assisting management with disciplinary policies and addressing employee concerns.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to engage effectively with a diverse workforce.
- Excellent time management skills, capable of meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to maintain integrity and professionalism while upholding the company's ethical standards.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Customer-focused approach with advanced customer service skills.
- Flexibility in work schedule is required.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field. An Associate's degree (AA) combined with two years of exempt-level experience may substitute for the above requirement.

Preferred Experience:
- Three to five years of relevant HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in the manufacturing or distribution sector is preferred.
- Familiarity with ADP Payroll, Report Smith, and Attendance Enterprise is advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.

Additional Qualifications:
- PHR or SHRM certification is preferred.
