Position Overview:

Compensation:
$65,000 - $72,000

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary resource for HR-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with department heads to attract and secure talent for open roles.
- Manage Worker’s Compensation and L&I claims.
- Oversee employee benefits programs.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations and best practices.
- Provide guidance to management and staff on employee relations issues.
- Conduct employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Facilitate new hire orientation across dealership locations.
- Manage the company's open enrollment process.
- Administer PTO accruals.
- Maintain and update personnel records in compliance with applicable laws.
- Ensure accurate data management in HRIS and Paychex.
- Handle offboarding and termination processes.
- Address all unemployment claims and inquiries.
- Resolve complex issues requiring policy interpretation and understanding of departmental objectives.
- Oversee all Leaves of Absences (Paid Leave, FMLA, ADA).
- Assist with payroll submission according to established schedules.
- Review, revise, and implement HR policies as necessary.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in an HR Generalist or HR Manager role.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking and HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Strong knowledge of state, local, and federal employment laws (FMLA, Paid Leave, ADA, NRLA, Title IV, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree and/or SHRM or PHR Certification preferred.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
