Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary resource for HR-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify and recruit talent for open roles.
- Manage Worker’s Compensation and L&I claims.
- Oversee employee benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations at all levels.
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues to management and staff.
- Facilitate employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Conduct orientation sessions for new hires across dealership locations.
- Manage the company’s open enrollment process.
- Oversee PTO accrual management.
- Maintain accurate personnel records in accordance with legal requirements.
- Ensure HRIS and Paychex systems are up-to-date.
- Handle offboarding and termination processes.
- Address unemployment claims and inquiries.
- Resolve complex issues that require policy interpretation and understanding of departmental objectives.
- Administer all Leaves of Absences, including Paid Leave, FMLA, and ADA.
- Assist with payroll processing according to established schedules.
- Review, revise, and implement HR policies as necessary.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in an HR Generalist or HR Manager role.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of employment laws (FMLA, Paid Leave, ADA, NRLA, Title IV, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree and/or SHRM or PHR Certification preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
