Role Summary:

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a vital role within the operations team, functioning as a versatile resource capable of tackling a variety of tasks as required. This individual relishes the challenge of problem-solving and excels at implementing operational efficiencies that empower our consultants to perform at their highest potential. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, technologically adept, and thrives in a collaborative environment while also being capable of working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Management:

  • Facilitate onboarding, offboarding, and promotion processes.
  • Oversee logistical arrangements for employee training, including scheduling and communication.
  • Manage updates related to employee information such as address, benefits, and name changes.

Talent Acquisition and Retention:

  • Assist in recruitment efforts, including job postings, interview scheduling, and conducting reference checks.
  • Support performance management initiatives.
  • Lead recognition programs for performance and retention.
  • Contribute to mentoring and firm contribution programs.

Facilities and Supplies Oversight:

  • Sort and distribute incoming mail.
  • Manage office and kitchen supply orders.
  • Oversee maintenance of conference and team room spaces.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors for supplies and building maintenance.

Event Coordination and Executive Support:

  • Organize quarterly company meetings.
  • Assist in planning company social events.

Information Technology Support:

  • Manage specific segments of IT inventory and processes.
  • Collaborate with IT service vendors to address staff IT support requests.

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Respond promptly to general information requests with accurate information.

  • Bachelor's degree required with a solid academic foundation.
  • 1-3 years of experience in office administration, HR, or operations support.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to share and synthesize information.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ownership of project work and professional growth.
  • Understanding of business concepts.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and presentation software.
  • Interest in public sector clients, operations, HR, and recruiting.
