The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with designated representatives to assess work requests, prioritize tasks, and devise solutions to ongoing challenges. This position is essential for ensuring operational effectiveness and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Master Project Plan Oversight: Manage the ongoing maintenance of the Application Group Master Project Plan.
- Tracking Work Assignments: Keep a comprehensive and current record of Application Group Work Assignments utilizing tools such as Jazz or Jira.
- Agile Team Leadership: Direct the formation and development of teams using Agile methodologies.
- Facilitation of Agile Ceremonies: Lead Agile ceremonies, including scrum meetings, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Execution of Kanban Processes: Ensure compliance with established Agile/Kanban practices.
- Work Ticket Management: Confirm that all work items are appropriately ticketed with both estimated and actual effort levels.
- Project Scoping and Planning: Spearhead the scoping and planning of proposed enhancements, making project management decisions that align with organizational standards.
- Schedule Coordination: Manage work assignments in accordance with established schedules.
- Staff Oversight: Ensure staff availability and productivity through effective management.
- Customer Interaction: Conduct regular engagement activities with customers to align expectations and deliverables.
- Collaborative Engagement: Work with the Technical Working Group and Change Control Board in accordance with best practices.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Oversee activities such as system integration, user acceptance testing, demonstrations, and approvals.
- Performance Evaluation: Monitor and address performance indicators, including resolving any related anomalies.
- Compliance and Audit Management: Address license requests and fulfill internal/external audit requirements.
- Business Support Requests (BSR): Coordinate and perform BSR analysis and estimation.
- Data Management: Efficiently handle both internal and external data requests.
- Support Coordination: Organize resources for Tier and on-call support as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in Agile, Project Management, or related fields are highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Jazz).
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
- Capability to resolve complex issues and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with organizational practices is advantageous.
