Position: Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer who possesses a deep understanding of managing Windows Server environments across both on-premises and cloud infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in critical areas such as patch management, backup strategies, migration processes, and the implementation of Active Directory.

This role requires proficiency in supporting a variety of applications, including but not limited to Java, .Net, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and various Warehouse technologies. The candidate will be expected to provide both server-level support and specialized assistance for production applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize Windows Server environments in hybrid configurations.
  • Guide disaster recovery strategies and ensure best practices for infrastructure reliability.
  • Conduct regular system updates and patching to maintain security and operational stability.
  • Oversee backup and recovery operations in high-stakes environments.
  • Plan and execute server migrations, including transitioning workloads to cloud platforms.
  • Support a diverse range of technologies, including .NET, Java, SQL, and Oracle.
  • Provide troubleshooting and server-level support for production applications.
  • Utilize security tools, such as Tenable, for effective vulnerability management.
  • Implement automated patch management solutions using tools like SCCM.
  • Develop comprehensive disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Demonstrate strong networking skills, with a solid understanding of OSI layer functionality and protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address infrastructure requirements and facilitate application deployment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Microsoft technologies, such as Azure Administrator Associate or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
  • Networking certifications, including Network+ or CCNA.
