Job Overview:

We are in search of a highly experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer who possesses a strong background in managing Windows Server environments across both on-premises and cloud platforms. The successful candidate will demonstrate a solid history in essential tasks such as patch management, backup solutions, migrations, and the implementation of Active Directory.

This role requires proficiency in supporting a diverse array of applications, including Java, .Net, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and various Warehouse technologies. Candidates should be equipped to provide both server-level support and specialized production application support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Windows Server in hybrid environments (both on-premises and cloud).
  • Provide expert guidance on disaster recovery and uptime management, ensuring infrastructure stability.
  • Conduct regular patching and updates to uphold system security and performance.
  • Oversee backup operations and recovery processes in critical environments.
  • Plan and execute server migrations, including transitioning workloads to cloud environments.
  • Support a variety of frameworks and technologies, including .NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues for production applications, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Utilize security tools, such as Tenable, for effective vulnerability management.
  • Employ tools like SCCM for automated patch management and deployment.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery (DR) plans to minimize downtime and protect data integrity.
  • Demonstrate strong networking knowledge, particularly in OSI layer functionality and network protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address infrastructure requirements and support application deployment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Microsoft technologies, such as Azure Administrator Associate or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
  • Networking certifications, including Network or CCNA.
