Expertise in Windows Server environments, including experience with patch management, backup solutions, migrations, and implementing Active Directory. Proficiency with tools such as SCCM for automated patch management is also required.


Position Summary:
We are in search of a highly proficient Senior Infrastructure Engineer with significant experience in managing Windows Server environments across both on-premises and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid history in patching, backup strategies, migrations, and the implementation of Active Directory.


The role necessitates support for a variety of applications, including Java, .Net, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and various warehouse technologies. Candidates should possess both server-level support skills and expertise in custom production application support.


Familiarity with security tools such as Tenable, along with experience in SCCM and automated patch management, is crucial. Proficiency in server security configurations, including endpoint protection, is essential. Strong networking knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of OSI layer functionality and protocols are required. Experience with disaster recovery (DR) processes is also vital.


Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with Windows Server in hybrid environments (both on-premises and cloud).
- Demonstrated ability to provide guidance on disaster recovery and uptime management, as well as best practices for infrastructure stability.
- Experience in performing regular patching and updates to maintain system security and stability.
- Oversight of backup operations and recovery processes in mission-critical environments.
- Planning and executing server migrations, including transitioning workloads from on-premises to the cloud.
- Comfortable working in environments utilizing multiple frameworks and technologies, including .NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and more.
- Experience in providing server-level support and troubleshooting for production applications.
- Familiarity with security tools such as Tenable for managing vulnerability remediation.
- Proficient with tools like SCCM for automated patch management and deployment.
- Experience in crafting disaster recovery (DR) plans to minimize downtime and prevent data loss.
- Strong networking knowledge, including understanding OSI layer functionality and network protocols.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to address infrastructure needs and support application deployment.


Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft-focused certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, etc.
- Networking-focused certifications, such as Network+, CCNA, etc.
