Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly proficient Senior Infrastructure Engineer with substantial experience in managing Windows Server environments across both on-premises and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong history in system patching, backup operations, migrations, and the implementation of Active Directory. Expertise in supporting a variety of applications, including Java, .Net, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and various Warehouse technologies, is essential. This role requires both server-level support and specialized production application support skills.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience in a diverse technological environment, including .NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet infrastructure requirements and facilitate application deployment.
  • Familiarity with security tools such as Tenable, and experience with SCCM and automated patch management.
  • Proficiency in server security configurations, including endpoint protection.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and OSI layer functionality and protocols.
  • Experience with disaster recovery (DR) processes is critical.
  • Preferred certifications include Microsoft-focused credentials such as Azure Administrator Associate and Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
  • Networking certifications such as Network+ and CCNA are also preferred.
  • Certifications in Systems Engineering and Network Engineering are advantageous.

Required Experience:

  • 6 Years - Proven experience managing Windows Server in hybrid environments.
  • 6 Years - Expertise in disaster recovery and infrastructure stability best practices.
  • 6 Years - Experience in regular system patching and updates for security and stability.
  • 6 Years - Oversight of backup operations and recovery in critical environments.
  • 6 Years - Planning and executing server migrations, including cloud transitions.
  • 6 Years - Providing server-level support and troubleshooting for production applications.
  • 6 Years - Utilizing security tools like Tenable for vulnerability management.
  • 6 Years - Experience with SCCM for automated patch management and deployment.
  • 6 Years - Crafting disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • 6 Years - Networking experience, including knowledge of OSI layers and protocols.

This opportunity is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
