Position: Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We are in search of a highly proficient Senior Infrastructure Engineer with substantial expertise in managing Windows Server environments across both on-premises and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong history in areas such as patch management, backup operations, migrations, and the implementation of Active Directory.

The successful applicant should be well-versed in supporting a variety of applications, including Java, .Net, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and various warehouse technologies. This role requires both server-level support and specialized production application support capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Windows Server in hybrid environments (both on-premises and cloud).
  • Provide insights on disaster recovery and uptime management, ensuring best practices for infrastructure stability.
  • Conduct regular patching and updates to maintain system security and operational stability.
  • Oversee backup operations and recovery processes in critical environments.
  • Plan and execute server migrations, including transitioning workloads from on-premises to cloud solutions.
  • Support and troubleshoot production applications at the server level.
  • Utilize security tools such as Tenable for vulnerability management.
  • Implement automated patch management using tools like SCCM.
  • Develop disaster recovery (DR) plans to minimize downtime and safeguard data integrity.
  • Demonstrate strong networking knowledge, including OSI layer functionality and network protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address infrastructure requirements and support application deployment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Microsoft technologies, such as Azure Administrator Associate or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
  • Networking certifications, including Network+ or CCNA.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in Windows Server management within hybrid environments.
  • Expertise in disaster recovery and infrastructure stability best practices.
  • Proficiency in regular system patching and updates.
  • Experience in backup operations and recovery in mission-critical settings.
  • Knowledge in executing server migrations to cloud platforms.
  • Ability to provide server-level support for production applications.
  • Experience with security tools for vulnerability remediation.
  • Familiarity with automated patch management tools.
  • Capability to craft effective disaster recovery plans.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.
