Position Overview:

The Senior Vice President of Engineered Solutions for Industrial Markets in North America is a vital member of the Senior Leadership team at KSB North America, reporting directly to the Regional President. This role encompasses the overall business performance and the expansion of the engineered (project) business across all pertinent markets in North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Develop comprehensive business plans, set clear objectives, and establish financial targets in alignment with corporate goals. Regularly review these objectives with your team.
  • P&L Oversight: Manage and report on the Profit and Loss for the engineered business, ensuring adherence to KSB's policies and procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Identify talent needs and lead recruitment and development efforts.
  • Business Development: Seek out new business opportunities within heavy industrial sectors, particularly in power generation and petrochemicals. Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in EPC firms and corporate clients.
  • Project Management: Oversee custom-built infrastructure projects from initial lead identification through to project execution, ensuring compliance with timelines and quality standards.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing their needs and collaborating on project specifications to ensure alignment with their objectives.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, with a Master's degree in Business or a related field preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy industrial markets and project business is essential. Extensive experience with EPC companies and a strong understanding of centrifugal pump technology is crucial.
