Position Summary:

We are in search of a highly proficient Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in managing Windows Server environments across both on-premises and cloud infrastructures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid history in patch management, backup solutions, migrations, and the implementation of Active Directory.

The successful applicant will be skilled in supporting a variety of applications, including Java, .Net, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and various warehouse technologies. This role requires expertise in both server-level support and custom production application support.

Familiarity with security tools such as Tenable is essential, along with experience in SCCM and automated patch management. Proficiency in server security configurations, including endpoint protection, is critical. A strong understanding of networking principles and OSI layer functionality is required, along with experience in disaster recovery (DR) processes. Preferred qualifications include certifications as a Systems Engineer and Network Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Windows Server in hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud).
  • Provide guidance on disaster recovery and infrastructure stability best practices.
  • Conduct regular patching and updates to maintain system security and stability.
  • Oversee backup operations and recovery processes in critical environments.
  • Plan and execute server migrations, including transitioning workloads to the cloud.
  • Deliver server-level support and troubleshoot production application issues.
  • Utilize security tools like Tenable for vulnerability management.
  • Employ tools such as SCCM for automated patch management and deployment.
  • Develop disaster recovery (DR) plans to minimize downtime and prevent data loss.
  • Demonstrate strong networking knowledge, including OSI layer functionality and protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address infrastructure needs and support application deployment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft-focused certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
  • Networking-focused certifications such as Network+, CCNA.
