Front Desk Coordinator

Job Summary
Family & Children's Services, a leading community mental health center, is seeking a skilled Front Desk Specialist to provide exceptional support services in telephone operations, general front desk operations, client and public engagement, and other related responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide front desk support services, including telephone operations and general front desk operations
- Engage with clients and the public in a professional and courteous manner
- Manage multi-line telephone systems and other communication technologies
- Utilize strong computer skills to perform administrative tasks
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Work effectively with employees and clients under stressful situations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; office administration, typing, and computer software coursework preferred
- One year of experience in medical office or healthcare with direct patient care/interaction in the past three years required
- Ability to type a minimum of 30 WPM
- Strong listening skills and ability to work effectively with agitated, mentally ill, and/or substance-abusing individuals
- Ability to maintain a professional manner at all times and work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or better
