Job Summary

InStride Foot is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Greet and register patients, verify insurance and demographic information, and check patients in and/or out as indicated.
  • Administrative Support: Collect co-pays and patient payments, answer phones, and monitor and resolve registration errors.
  • Referrals and Authorizations: Complete referrals and authorizations as needed, and demonstrate a working knowledge of our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Front Office Maintenance: Maintain the tidiness of the front office and waiting area, and ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are available.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Computer experience and customer service experience required. Understanding of medical insurance and experience with medical records software and practice management software preferred.
  • Certifications: Must have a working understanding of OSHA and HIPAA compliance.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced office environment. Should be able to bend and lift up to 10 pounds.
