Patient Service Representative

Purpose and ResponsibilitiesThis role provides front office support in clinical areas, ensuring a seamless patient experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions
- Maintaining effective communication with the healthcare team and patients
- Managing patient check-in and check-out processes, including sample management and appointment scheduling
- Coordinating patient appointments, including office, outpatient procedures, and hospital visits
- Answering incoming calls and taking necessary action
- Maintaining provider schedules and on-call rotations
- Keeping logs and records as required by management
- Attending department and training meetings as needed
- Maintaining office supplies and ordering as necessary
- Directing patients to the Central Business Office for billing inquiries
- Assisting management with additional duties to ensure efficiency and a cohesive working environment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Full COVID-19 vaccination, with documentation required prior to orientation
Preferred qualifications include experience in medical office administration and BLS/CPR certification.
