Job Title: Patient Experience Coordinator

At Novant Health, we are committed to delivering the most remarkable patient experience in every dimension, every time. As a Patient Experience Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and service.

Responsibilities:
  • Leadership Rounding: Participate in daily leadership rounding to monitor waiting rooms, communicate wait times to patients, and ensure that all patients are greeted in a timely manner.
  • Front Desk Supervision: Supervise front desk staff, ensuring that they adhere to NHRMC PG Standards of Performance and provide excellent customer service.
  • Cash Management: Oversee cash management protocols, ensuring that front line staff is accurate in all cash management functions.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and teammates, using AIDET and key words at key times.
  • Problem Solving: Deescalate situations and problem solve proactively without intervention from leadership.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: At least 5 years previous medical office experience working within a patient registration, reception or billing role. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
