Your Role

The Product Marketing team at Whistle aims to ensure that our offerings reach the right audience with the most effective messaging. We thrive on using our products to reflect customer feedback and drive strategic innovation by transforming our deep understanding of market needs into actionable product opportunities.

We are in search of a seasoned Product Marketing leader who possesses expertise in go-to-market strategies and a proven history of managing cross-sell, upsell, and customer marketing initiatives to enhance our benefits portfolio.

As a Senior Manager within the Product Marketing team, you will work closely with our Benefits product team to launch new offerings, features, and services to both prospective and existing clients. Your responsibilities will include leading go-to-market strategies for Benefits products and features at various stages of development across multiple platforms, while building relationships with a variety of stakeholders. You will help identify product-market fit, target audiences, and develop initial messaging and positioning that effectively communicates our value proposition. Additionally, you will lay the groundwork for increasing benefits adoption through customer marketing strategies, including product-led cross-sell and upsell initiatives, as well as sales support. This role is ideal for a Product Marketer who is excited about understanding complex products and conveying them to non-technical audiences.

In this position, you will also play a crucial role in the Product Marketing leadership team, contributing to the growth and evolution of the function. You will oversee and enhance essential Product Marketing processes and operations across various departments and product lines, improving the team's capabilities and best practices, defining the overall vision and objectives for the team, and ensuring that customer and market insights are integrated into all our efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor high-performing teams of Product Marketing Managers across diverse product areas, fostering an environment of psychological safety and growth.
  • Guide your team in executing go-to-market strategies that drive product adoption, revenue growth, and customer retention.
  • Collaborate with Product leadership to shape the product strategy and priorities for your domains.
  • Utilize buyer and segment expertise to develop comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to specific customer groups.
  • Align Product Marketing initiatives with Whistle's corporate strategy, ensuring thoughtful investment in product strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to create unique value propositions for our customers and drive product growth through strategic recommendations.
  • Assist in managing the overall processes and operations of the Product Marketing department in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Encourage your team to be strong advocates for the customer, leveraging insights to influence product direction and marketing strategies.
  • Develop impactful go-to-market product launch strategies in partnership with marketing, product management, and sales enablement teams.
  • Work closely with Sales, Customer Support, and Marketing teams to identify key cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Guide your team in setting, measuring, and reporting on Product and Marketing KPIs that align with Whistle's overall strategy.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
