Key Responsibilities:

SS&C is seeking an experienced Product Marketing professional to join our global team. This role will focus on our B2B Investment Solutions sector, targeting clients in retail and institutional investment management, as well as brokerage firms worldwide. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and SS&C's offerings. As a market representative, the Lead Product Marketer will craft effective positioning and messaging to engage potential buyers, facilitating successful product introductions and sales initiatives. Candidates should demonstrate a successful history of launching new SaaS products and collaborating across various departments.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, product features, and competitive landscape, sharing insights with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing teams
  • Assist in formulating content strategies and developing a variety of marketing materials, including articles, videos, web presentations, and social media posts
  • Map the customer journey for targeted segments, identifying their decision-making processes and motivations, and implementing strategies to enhance marketing, sales, and customer service
  • Create persuasive product positioning and messaging tailored to specific buyer personas to guide global and regional marketing efforts
  • Remain informed about the competitive landscape, understanding competitor strategies and effectively communicating insights to the sales team
  • Collaborate with product marketing leadership and the broader marketing team to develop comprehensive marketing plans for SS&C's products, focusing on customer acquisition and retention

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Five to seven years of experience in Asset Management settings, with a minimum of three years in product marketing
  • Over two years of experience in FinTech/B2B SaaS environments
  • Essential B2B Experience Required
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in developing and delivering product messaging and creating innovative marketing content
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
  • Customer-focused mindset with a genuine commitment to supporting clients
  • Proactive and comfortable navigating uncertainty
