Key Responsibilities:
SS&C is seeking an experienced Product Marketing professional to join our global Product Marketing team. This role will focus on our B2B Investment Solutions sector, engaging clients in retail investment management, institutional investment management, and brokerage-dealer firms globally. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of the market landscape, effectively analyze customer requirements, and possess in-depth knowledge of SS&C's offerings. As the market representative, the Lead Product Marketer will develop positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences, facilitating successful product introductions and sales initiatives. Candidates should demonstrate a proven history of launching new SaaS products and collaborating across teams for successful releases.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of market trends, product dynamics, and competitive landscape, sharing insights with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing teams
- Assist in formulating content strategies and producing a variety of marketing materials, including blog posts, videos, web demonstrations, and social media content
- Map out customer journeys for target segments, identifying decision-making processes and motivations, and implementing strategies to enhance marketing, sales, and customer service
- Create persuasive product positioning and messaging tailored to specific buyer personas to guide global and regional marketing efforts
- Stay updated on the competitive landscape, understanding competitor positioning and effectively communicating insights to the sales team
- Collaborate with product marketing leadership and the broader marketing team to develop effective marketing plans for SS&C's products, focusing on customer acquisition and retention
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- Five to seven years of experience in Asset Management settings, with a minimum of three years in product marketing
- Over two years of experience in FinTech/B2B SaaS environments
- Essential B2B Experience Required
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in crafting and delivering product messages, creating innovative marketing content, and presenting to diverse audiences
- Ability to distill complex concepts into clear, understandable terms
- Customer-focused mindset with a genuine commitment to supporting client needs
- Proactive and comfortable navigating uncertainty
