Role Overview

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable experiences for our guests. Your passion for the culinary arts and dedication to exceptional service will enable you to enhance our guests' special moments.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive hotel records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Proactively plan and anticipate operational needs.
  • Stay informed on financial performance, ensuring sales and profits are optimized.
  • Exercise prudent expense management.
  • Meet project deadlines consistently.
  • Be present during peak operational times to oversee service delivery.
  • Develop a capable team that can operate independently in your absence.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to uphold standards.
  • Utilize F&B software and administrative tools effectively.

Financial Oversight

  • Monitor costs and implement strategies for control.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on incentive programs for team members.
  • Ensure adherence to the operational budget.
  • Communicate monthly forecasts and targets clearly.
  • Balance financial objectives with the commitment to quality service.
  • Analyze guest feedback and address concerns promptly.
  • Support the Executive Committee and department heads in financial matters.

Training and Development

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Prepare and update the Restaurant Operations Manual.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new team members.
  • Assist in conducting performance evaluations.
  • Identify training needs and provide development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Guest Service Excellence

  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail in service delivery.
  • Adhere to operational standards and service culture.
  • Engage with guests diplomatically and effectively.
  • Promote special events and offerings enthusiastically.
  • Adapt management style to suit various situations.

Management Skills

  • Set and communicate high standards and achievable goals.
  • Motivate team performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Inspire commitment and teamwork among staff.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance personal and departmental standards.

Miscellaneous Duties

  • Assist in developing the annual marketing strategy for the restaurant.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance revenue and profitability.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings.
  • Organize team meetings to ensure effective communication.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Service-oriented with a keen eye for detail.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role is advantageous.
