ABOUT FOOD & BEVERAGE

The Food & Beverage team is essential in providing guests with a fresh, well-stocked, and safe shopping experience. This team excels in operations, processes, and efficiency, overseeing all aspects of food services, including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing, and promotional signage.

ROLE OF A FOOD SERVICE TEAM LEADER

As a Food Service Team Leader, you will gain valuable skills and experiences, including:

  • Understanding guest service fundamentals and fostering a guest-first culture.
  • Grasping Food & Beverage business essentials: sales trends, freshness, quality, inventory management, and pricing strategies.
  • Planning daily and weekly workloads to align with business priorities and drive sales.
  • Leading a team of hourly team members, focusing on interviewing, coaching, and talent retention.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Your daily responsibilities may include:

  • Planning and executing workloads to meet sales goals and enhance guest engagement.
  • Working a flexible schedule that meets guest and business needs.
  • Modeling guest service standards and ensuring a fresh and inviting area.
  • Demonstrating a service culture that prioritizes guest experiences.
  • Conducting assessments of food service areas to ensure safety and inventory levels.
  • Leading the team in maintaining brand standards and production specifications.
  • Participating in team onboarding and addressing skill gaps through training.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and ethical conduct.
  • Supporting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
