Role Overview

The Server is responsible for warmly welcoming guests and efficiently serving food and beverages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promptly attend to all guests upon arrival, offering a warm greeting and distributing menus.
  • Accurately take food and drink orders from guests.
  • Relay orders to the kitchen, ensuring that any special requests are communicated to the culinary team.
  • Serve meals, arranging dishes by course in front of each guest and serving from the left.
  • Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction, and replenish items such as water and butter as needed.
  • Recommend and serve desserts, coffee, and after-dinner beverages.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and the dining area.
  • Report any guest complaints to a supervisor immediately.
  • Complete side work, clean-up, and closing tasks as assigned.
  • Carry out additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience in a serving role.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve issues; manage multiple tasks under pressure with minimal supervision; and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and appropriate appearance in all situations.
