TDK Corporation of America is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Account Executive in the Atlantic Region.


Job Summary: As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding sales of TDK's electronic components in the assigned geographic area. This includes Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and surrounding areas.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Sales and promotion of TDK product lines in the assigned territory
  • Schedule visits to major accounts and identify potential new applications/customers
  • Collaborate with technical marketing engineers to develop new business opportunities
  • Build sales relationships, perform price negotiations, and formulate sales and marketing strategies
  • Assist in resolving quality issues and manage existing customer production schedules
  • Work on design wins and bring new programs to market


Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of technical sales experience selling electronic components
  • Strong sales, organization, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to multitask
  • Will consider recent engineering graduates with strong technical skills and a desire to pursue a career in electronic component sales
