Position Overview:
As a pivotal member of the executive team, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the Finance Department at CMA CGM (America) LLC, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all financial reporting and accounting functions, ensuring compliance with established policies and guidelines.
  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments and validate the effectiveness of internal controls across all financial processes.
  • Manage a dedicated local finance team while collaborating with global shared service centers to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Finance Department.
  • Foster constructive relationships with various departments to enhance financial performance and process improvements.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
  • Ensure timely reporting of financial variances and assist in cost control initiatives.
  • Coordinate with senior leadership and oversee accounts payable processes to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Act as the primary liaison for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and transparency.
  • Perform regular risk analyses on balance sheet accounts, ensuring robust review processes are in place.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with an MBA or equivalent advanced knowledge in finance preferred. A minimum of 10 years of management experience in a corporate finance environment is required.

Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
