We are currently in search of a Lead Technical Program Manager to spearhead the execution and delivery of multiple intricate programs concurrently throughout the Five9 organization. In this dynamic position, you will collaborate across various departments and advocate for how our technology teams are developing and structuring our latest innovations to enhance Five9's product suite. This opportunity is available to qualified candidates within the United States, with occasional travel required.

This role encompasses both strategic and operational elements, where your extensive technical and leadership acumen will be essential in managing the program, foreseeing and alleviating risks while balancing business objectives with technical limitations. You will be expected to cultivate robust relationships among Product Engineering applications & services, Product Management, and various Business Operations, Finance, and Executive teams. Exceptional communication skills are imperative. Your duties will include securing commitments from stakeholders, ensuring high-quality outcomes, and boosting team productivity and efficiency to implement strategies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the technical expertise necessary to evaluate readiness through a series of communications, assessments, and retrospectives that enable other teams to prepare for seamless capacity delivery.
  • Drive quantifiable program outcomes. Establish governance over prioritization to ensure alignment with key performance metrics.
  • Serve as a pivotal member of a highly integrated team consisting of both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Collaborate within a diverse team environment to execute work plans and schedules essential for mission success.
  • Create program plans, gather and translate requirements, identify risks, manage timelines, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
  • Engage in clear communication with cross-functional partners throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Technical Program Management within a relevant sector.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proven history of being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on initiatives.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle from inception to delivery.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (GCP/AWS preferred).
  • Proven experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, developing processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • PMP, Prince2, CSM, or equivalent certification.

Work Arrangement: This position is fully remote for candidates residing outside a specified radius of our office. For candidates within that radius, a hybrid model requiring in-office attendance on designated days will apply.

The displayed range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role across the United States.
