Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager who will play a crucial role in collaborating with our Engineering teams. This position is integral to the execution of various projects aimed at enhancing our technological infrastructure and optimizing our development methodologies. Your contributions will be vital in aligning our technical efforts with the company's strategic goals and improving the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Engineering leadership to outline project scopes, coordinate activities, and monitor the progress of technical initiatives across the organization.
  • Oversee multiple strategic projects, ensuring effective communication of timelines, milestones, and deliverables while maintaining accountability among stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance organizational execution and increase engineering productivity through streamlined processes and tools.
  • Educate and mentor team members on best practices in program management, amplifying your impact across the Engineering and Technical Program Management teams.
  • Manage documentation related to requirements, milestones, and program communications, leveraging your technical insight to guide engineers in delivering effective solutions.
  • Provide clear and concise updates to leadership regarding project statuses and their implications for business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Operations, or Agile methodologies.
  • Strong skills in program management combined with a solid understanding of both technical and business aspects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A willingness to gain domain expertise relevant to your role, with an understanding of system flows and architectures.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • A proactive approach, demonstrating initiative and a capacity for rapid learning to drive operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with mobile application development and associated technologies.
  • Experience in building mobile and web applications.
  • Relevant certifications such as CSM, PMI-ACP, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools like Grafana or similar.
  • Experience working collaboratively with Product teams.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
