Our Technical Program Managers play a crucial role in bolstering our Engineering teams by leading a variety of initiatives. These initiatives are centered on enhancing our infrastructure and optimizing our development methodologies, ensuring timely delivery and superior execution of our product strategies. This position is vital for the company to reach its overarching goals and improve the overall user experience.

We are in search of a Senior Technical Program Manager to enhance our vibrant team. In this capacity, you will work closely with Engineering leaders to outline and implement initiatives focused on operational excellence. You will have the distinct opportunity to drive substantial enhancements, shape our strategic direction, and establish processes that guarantee scalability and efficiency across our offerings. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will oversee technical programs across various engineering sectors, align project objectives with business goals, and promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Engineering team leaders to define project scope, coordinate, and monitor technical programs across the Engineering division.
  • Engage in multiple strategic investments in the management and communication of comprehensive project timelines (e.g., epics, sprint plans, milestones, timelines, and releases) while ensuring accountability among stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance organizational execution, thereby increasing engineering productivity through tools and streamlined processes.
  • Extend your influence by educating and mentoring the TPM and Engineering teams on best practices in program management.
  • Oversee requirements documentation, milestone tracking, prioritization, and program communication. Utilize your technical insight to collaborate with and guide engineers in delivering effective solutions.
  • Provide clear status updates to all levels of leadership, including technical progress and its implications for business outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Operations, or Agile/Scrum methodologies as a Scrum Master.
  • Strong program management capabilities combined with technical and business insight.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness to develop domain expertise in your operational area - while TPMs are not expected to code, they should comprehend system flows, block architectures, APIs, and similar concepts.
  • Proficient with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and others.
  • A proactive self-starter with the ability to take initiative and quickly learn to drive operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with mobile application development and associated technologies.
  • Previous experience in building mobile and web applications.
  • Certifications such as CSM, PMI-ACP, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Grafana, Mode, or similar.
  • Prior collaboration with Product teams.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Compensation: $146,000 - $180,000 annually. The offered salary may vary based on the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's experience, education, job-related skills, internal equity, and market considerations.
