Job Summary

Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Desk Representative to provide exceptional patient care and administrative support in our medical offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Check-in and Check-out: Ensure efficient and accurate processing of patient information, including demographic and financial data.
  • Scheduling and Communication: Coordinate patient appointments, communicate with patients and staff, and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect patient co-payments and past due balances, and process other financial transactions as needed.
  • Clerical Support: Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and other duties as assigned.
  • Confidentiality and HIPAA Compliance: Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of patient information, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical or healthcare setting, or equivalent experience in a customer service or front desk position.
  • Skills: Proficiency in computer software, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a strong attention to detail.
