Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Maintain positive guest relations at all times, work to resolve guest complaints, and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with guests and team members, providing clear and concise information.
  • Knowledge and Awareness: Maintain knowledge of all hotel features, services, hours of operation, room rates, special packages, and promotions.
  • Front Desk Operations: Answer telephone calls, monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas, and verify guest information upon arrival and departure.
  • Payment Processing: Obtain method of payment from guests, process all payments according to established hotel requirements, and maintain guest confidentiality.
  • Emergency Response: Assist in handling emergencies, protecting guests and associates, and preserving the building and its systems.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) or work equivalent.
  • Computer Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Guest Service Agent, with previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Language and Communication: Good understanding of the English language and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8-hours in length.
  • Availability: Willingness to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
