Role Overview:
This role involves overseeing system integration for the Moon-to-Mars (M2M) Program's Artemis lunar missions.

Your responsibilities will include the formulation of system engineering strategies and leading the execution of M2M milestone evaluations. You will coordinate team participation in these evaluations, manage system integration with key stakeholders, and engage in flight certification milestone assessments for Artemis missions.

The position will be based at Johnson Space Center, collaborating with a diverse team of System Engineering and Integration (SE&I) professionals in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement processes for NASA life cycle evaluations, including integration sync points and various milestone reviews such as MCR, PDR, CDR, and FRR.
  • Create planning documentation for lunar exploration milestone evaluations, detailing success criteria, comment processing, and board responsibilities.
  • Formulate execution plans for lunar exploration milestone evaluations, encompassing agenda coordination with M2M management, personnel training, scheduling, product reviews, and comment management.
  • Facilitate integration among multiple Program and cross-program stakeholders throughout the flight readiness and life cycle evaluation processes, including future planning for Certification of Flight Readiness (CoFR).
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in milestone review integration.
  • Familiarity with NASA and/or commercial partner milestone evaluations (e.g., Preliminary Design Review).
  • Experience in creating system engineering documentation and integration.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in developing NASA or NASA-related system documentation.
Essential Skills:
  • Self-driven and proactive in communication and integration efforts.
  • Able to lead specific tasks when necessary.
  • Capable of working within a team that spans multiple NASA centers.
  • Proficient in cross-program integration, identifying and resolving integration challenges.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
