Position: Electronics Manufacturing Technician

The teams focused on space manufacturing and resource extraction are tasked with developing innovative technologies to extract, produce, and fabricate materials in microgravity and lunar environments. As a dedicated technician at Lunar Resources, you will collaborate with a diverse group of engineers, material scientists, electrochemists, and metallurgists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a committed technician, taking full ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Fabricate and assemble electronic components, circuit boards, and related electrical parts.
  • Construct and integrate electrical systems.
  • Assist in scientific experiments and research & development initiatives.
  • Drive technological advancements; collaborate with engineers and teams across the organization to ensure the successful implementation of technologies. Innovate continuously.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Understanding of circuitry.
  • Experience with soldering techniques.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Soldering certifications.
  • Proficiency in circuitry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand project objectives and work towards overarching goals beyond individual task assignments.
  • Experience in cleanroom and ESD-sensitive environments.
  • Skill in operating machinery and various hand and power tools requiring manual dexterity.
  • Familiarity with calibrated measurement instruments, including load cells, multimeters, calipers, torque wrenches, depth gauges, and micrometers.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as necessary to meet critical project and mission milestones.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a startup culture and environment.

This position is located at Lunar Resources' facility in Houston, TX. Remote work is not an option for this role.
