Position Overview:
The Naval Reactors Facility is on the lookout for a seasoned Radiological Engineer to enhance our Radiological Controls Department, comprising skilled Engineers and Technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and authorize radiological operations.
- Draft and assess technical documentation and protocols.
- Conduct data analysis and trend evaluations.
- Validate engineering designs for radiological equipment and systems.
- Supervise the execution of radiological tasks.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in an accredited engineering or science discipline with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with at least 4 years of pertinent experience. Alternatively, candidates may qualify through specific naval operational roles or certifications.
Preferred Experience:
Experience within the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program, particularly in radiological contexts.
