Position Overview:

As a vital member of the nursing education team, the Clinical Compliance Coordinator will work closely with the Clinical Placement and Recruitment Specialist to ensure that nursing students and clinical faculty adhere to all health regulations, accreditation standards, and institutional, clinical partner, federal, state, and local regulatory requirements related to nursing education. This role is essential in facilitating student compliance with clinical agency contractual, health, background, and training prerequisites.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and monitor the compliance of students and faculty with annual health requirements across both graduate and undergraduate programs, ensuring timely notifications for any non-compliance.
  2. Engage directly with students to guarantee that all requirements are fulfilled by set deadlines, collaborating weekly with the clinical placements specialist to manage non-compliant cases.
  3. Develop and maintain clinical documentation and forms for students and faculty to ensure clear communication regarding clinical policies and procedures.
  4. Manage student clinical course registrations, ensuring all students are appropriately planned and registered each semester.
  5. Provide ongoing support and address issues related to clinical placement courses as needed.
  6. Assist in conducting student clinical orientation sessions each semester alongside the Clinical Placement and Recruitment Specialist.
  7. Collaborate with the designated administrative assistant to process standard affiliation agreements with both current and prospective clinical agencies.
  8. Maintain comprehensive master files that include specific requirements from clinical agencies, such as contract dates, health prerequisites, background checks, and orientation tracking.
  9. Support the Graduate Nursing Program Director in managing the student practicum process, including affiliation agreement creation and compliance tracking.
  10. Handle student clinical requests through My Clinical Exchange and other clinical tracking systems.
  11. Provide administrative support for faculty committees within the School of Nursing.
  12. Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field, with experience in project management, data entry, and problem-solving preferred.
