Position Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Reports to: Human Resources Director

Position Overview:

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the complete recruitment cycle and collaborating with the Human Resources Director to attract qualified mid-level and provider talent. This position addresses daily recruitment inquiries and general human resources policies and procedures. Responsibilities include researching, sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, as well as onboarding new hires in alignment with the organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively source and cultivate talent pipelines, ensuring a diverse network of potential candidates for current and future openings.
  • Oversee the provider enrollment and onboarding process, which includes managing applications, re-credentialing, and maintaining provider data across necessary systems.
  • Assist providers in completing required documentation and address inquiries regarding the enrollment and credentialing process.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and standards from organizations such as NCQA, TJC, and CMS.
  • Identify and analyze trends and best practices to enhance recruitment effectiveness.
  • Evaluate applications for internal transfers and external candidates based on established criteria and affirmative action regulations.
  • Support the HR department in various areas, including employment status changes, benefits, safety, compliance, audits, and reporting.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and establish effective communication channels with team members and external partners.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, ensuring accurate records of interviews and new hires.
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience through timely follow-ups and support throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain communication with candidates from initial contact through to their start date.
  • Advise hiring managers on talent acquisition strategies.
  • Stay updated on developments related to compensation, employee benefits, and personnel practices in relation to market conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and organizational policies in recruitment and hiring activities.
  • Build relationships with educational institutions, associations, and professional organizations by participating in networking events and job fairs.
  • Coordinate interviews via phone, virtual platforms, and in-person meetings.
  • Submit weekly activity reports to the HR Director.
  • Meet weekly recruitment goals set by the HR Director.
  • Participate actively in weekly recruitment meetings with assigned managers.
  • Gather data, perform analysis, and create comprehensive reports that are timely and relevant.
  • Ensure all new staff complete necessary documentation and receive orientation regarding personnel policies.
  • Maintain human resource information system records and generate reports from the database.
  • Ensure accurate data entry into the applicant tracking system and HRIS.
  • Comply with federal and state employment regulations.
  • Engage in ongoing HR education and training as required.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Required experience as a Credentialing Specialist.
  • Experience in Provider Enrollment is essential.
  • Familiarity with CMS, PECOS, and PAVE portals is necessary.
  • PHR or other HR certifications are preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of recruiting and HR experience, ideally in a healthcare environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking and HR information systems; experience with ADP is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with limited resources and information.
