Clinical Support Specialist

Maine Family Planning is in search of a dedicated Health Care Associate to provide support at our clinic. This role involves working three days a week, specifically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
The Health Care Associate plays a vital role in assisting family planning professionals with both administrative and clinical responsibilities under the guidance of a Nurse Practitioner, adhering to the regulations set forth by the State of Maine. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and possess exceptional customer service skills along with a professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support family planning providers in delivering high-quality care.
- Maintain compliance with Maine Family Planning policies and clinical protocols.
Qualifications:
Experience and Skills: The following are essential:
- A minimum of 12 months of experience in social or health services is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in managing systems and technology.
- Familiarity with OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA regulations.
- Experience with electronic medical records is a plus.
- A commitment to the mission of family planning.
Education: A high school diploma is preferred.
