Position Overview

Salary: $20.20 per hour

Maine Family Planning is in search of a dedicated Health Care Associate to contribute to our clinic operations on a part-time basis, specifically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Role Responsibilities

The Health Care Associate plays a vital role in supporting family planning professionals by executing both administrative and clinical tasks under the guidance of the Nurse Practitioner, in accordance with state regulations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and exhibit exceptional customer service skills along with a professional demeanor.

Key Qualifications

Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 12 months of experience in social or health services is preferred.
  • Strong organizational abilities and proficiency in managing systems.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA standards.
  • Experience with electronic medical records is essential.
  • A commitment to the mission of family planning is required.

Educational Background:

A high school diploma is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting pay for this position is $20.20 per hour. Employees will receive health and vision insurance, along with vacation, sick leave, and holiday benefits.
