Position Overview

Salary: $20.20 per hour

Maine Family Planning is in search of a dedicated Health Care Associate to provide support at our clinic. This role involves working three days a week, specifically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

The Health Care Associate plays a crucial role in assisting family planning professionals with both administrative and clinical responsibilities under the guidance of a Nurse Practitioner, in accordance with the regulations set forth by the State of Maine. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills alongside a professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support family planning providers in delivering quality care.
  • Maintain compliance with Maine Family Planning policies and clinical protocols.

Essential Qualifications:

Experience and Skills: Candidates should possess the following:

  • A minimum of 12 months of experience in social or health services is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in managing systems and technology.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA guidelines.
  • Experience with electronic medical records is essential.
  • A commitment to the mission of family planning.

Educational Background:

A high school diploma is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

Starting pay is set at $20.20 per hour, with benefits that include health and vision insurance, as well as vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay.
