About the Role and Organization:

As a Behavioral Support Specialist at ABLE Kids, you will play a crucial role in fostering significant improvements in the lives of our young clients, aged 2 to 6 years. You will work in close collaboration with our team to deliver exceptional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services and assist in developing effective behavior intervention strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy, focusing on behavior interventions, motor skills, daily living activities, and more.
  • Implement treatment plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
  • Support parents in collaboration with BCBAs.
  • Maintain professional communication with families, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Document data based on treatment plan objectives.
  • Review data with BCBA to inform decision-making.
  • Complete daily records and notes.
  • Participate in orientation and training sessions.
  • Collaborate effectively within the team.
  • Follow clinic cleanliness protocols.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED; college experience is a plus.
  • Commitment to regular attendance and reliable transportation.
  • RBT certification or willingness to complete the 40-Hour RBT course and Exam (costs covered by the company).
  • Compassion, experience, and a desire to work with children.
  • Willingness to undergo CPR training and background checks.
  • Must have a clean background check.
Employment Type: FULL-TIME
Salary: $37,440.00 Per Year ($18.00 per hour with biannual raises for the first 2.5 years)
