Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts, and driving sales growth through effective sales coverage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor sales activities for assigned accounts and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Promote and effectively sell our standard products to customers.
  • Proactively recommend products or alternatives to customers to meet their needs.
  • Help create new orders by engaging with customers to identify additional product needs.
  • Participate in quarterly reviews with customers and sales partners to assess the viability of inventory solutions.
  • Understand and support our established policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to customers.
  • Generate sales reports as requested.
  • Work in our ERP system (NetSuite) daily to manage sales tools, customer information, and product information.
  • Answer incoming sales and customer service calls, emails, and website inquiries, and escalate any customer complaints.
  • Resolve customer concerns in an expeditious and tactful manner, and generate customer complaint reports as required.
  • File, organize, and maintain sales tools, customer information, and product information within the ERP system.
  • Enter sales orders and purchase order request forms as a backup for the sales order processor.
  • Support management and other departments with administrative tasks.
  • Enter and update relevant information in databases.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Inside sales experience and customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of ERP/CRM systems, with experience in NetSuite a plus.
  • Accurate data entry skills.
  • Professionalism, time management, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-5 years of customer service experience in a professional office environment and/or inside sales experience.
  • Data entry and computer software capabilities.
  • Consumer product experience and wholesale experience a plus.
