Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examinations and assist with treatment
  • Perform triage and obtain vital signs
  • Document patient history and medical information accurately and timely
  • Collect and maintain patient and business documents while maintaining confidentiality
  • Collect laboratory specimens and administer medications
  • Perform various clinical, aseptic, and laboratory procedures
  • Document medical interventions and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure compliance with health care regulatory requirements
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and maintain accurate trackers
  • Perform administrative duties and operate medical equipment
  • Travel to various locations as needed
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant or EMT program from an accredited institution
  • Valid MA, CMA, RMA, or EMT Certification
  • Two years of relevant healthcare experience in urgent care or emergency department
  • Ability to train new graduates
  • Proficiency in injections and knowledge of clinical procedures
