Key Responsibilities for the Program Coordinator:

  • Formulate or revise project plans encompassing objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing requirements.
  • Assess time, costs, resources, and materials necessary for project completion.
  • Oversee project implementation to ensure adherence to timelines.
  • Facilitate coordination among project personnel and manage the allocation of project tasks in accordance with the established plan and schedule.
  • Create and uphold a work breakdown structure (WBS).
  • Engage with project stakeholders to identify challenges and address or escalate issues as needed.
  • Recognize and manage project dependencies and the change control process.
  • Stay informed about emerging project management techniques, methodologies, and technologies.
  • Evaluate data or information: monitor and report actual project performance against the project plan.
  • Establish and manage expectations of stakeholders.
  • Assist in monitoring and managing the project budget.
  • Support the tracking and reporting of team hours and expenditures.
  • Supervise and report on project timelines, including critical path analysis.

Essential Qualifications for the Program Coordinator:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Project Management role within the IT sector.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven capability to lead project teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with the Waterfall project management methodology.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
  • Proficient in utilizing project tracking tools such as Jira.
