Overview:

This role is strictly onsite in downtown Nashville, TN. Candidates must be local to the area.

RadGov Inc. is seeking a Managed Care Specialist for an essential onsite position. This role is critical in ensuring effective communication and coordination within our healthcare programs.

Training: Comprehensive training will be provided, lasting up to 6 weeks, which may include both virtual and in-office sessions as required by the supervisor. Attendance is mandatory throughout the training period.

Work Schedule: Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess eligibility for various care programs for individuals and families.
  • Facilitate coordination and communication of schedules with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct interviews with clients to gather necessary information and compile case data for recommendations.
  • Manage casework efficiently, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
  • Perform legal research, analyze legal documents, and draft necessary paperwork.
  • Utilize multiple databases effectively to retrieve relevant information.
  • Participate in workgroup meetings and contribute to discussions.
  • Support the leadership team as required.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's or associate degree is required.
  • Experience in Paralegal studies is advantageous.
  • Prior work experience in a legal setting is preferred.
  • Customer service or call center experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines are crucial.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.

This position is a contract role based in downtown Nashville, TN, with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.
